Film Industry Strike

The Actors Strike associated with the AI contract has affected thousands of film industry professionals worldwide.  Not just the actors most at risk of being replaced by CGI. Carpenters, caterers, riggers and the myriad of crew and peripheral services involved in making these works of art and entertainment. Seeing so many people left not knowing how they will pay their bills is a heartbreaking sight.

Thankfully the strike is now over and a mutually agreeable conclusion is putting a smile on the face of everyone affected.

I think I can speak for everyone when I say that I am extremely grateful to the SAG-AFTRA representatives and other strikers in their action to be treated fairly.  Now we can all get back to work.
